Author: Francis Robert Brunskill (1870–1952)

Biography: Francis Robert Brunskill was born on 28 April 1870 in Darlington, the son of accountant Robert Brunskill and his wife Ellen (née Graham). He studied for the ministry at Hartley Victoria College, Manchester. Brunskill served as a Methodist in various places around England including a long period in Chester. In 1900, he married Dorcas Hollands and the couple had one daughter. In addition to a biography, he wrote the single novel Donnie (1901) about a self-satisfied minister. He died on 26 October 1952 in Parkville Tredegar, Wales.
