Author: Charles George Cotsford Dick (1846–1911)
Biography: Charles George Cotsford Dick was born on 1 September 1846, the son of barrister Charles George Dick. He attended Worcester College, Oxford and briefly practiced law before turning to literature, primarily comic opera, songs, verse, and plays. He wrote the single novel, Heloise: An Autobiography (1874). He was an invalid for many years according to one source. He never married and died on 11 August 1911.
