Biography: Walter Parke was born about 1850 in Hounslow. His early life cannot be traced. As a journalist and playwright he was known for his comic verse and he wrote several comic operas with composer Joseph Williams ("Florian Pascal"). He was married but does not appear to have had any children. He died in December 1922.
