Author: Frances Mary Oxenham (1828–1870)
Biography: Frances Mary Oxenham was born on 2 August 1828 in Eton, the eldest daughter of clergyman and schoolmaster William Oxenham. Her father would move from Eton to be Lower Master of Harrow. A resident of Pontypool, she never married and wrote two religious-themed novels in middle age. Unfortunately, she died soon after on 2 August 1870 in Kensington.
