Alternate Name(s): Emma Elizabeth Hall (maiden name); Mrs. T. H. Passmore (familiar name)
Biography: Elizabeth Passmore was born around 1835 in London, the youngest daughter of physician Stephen Hall of Exeter. In 1863, she married surgeon Thomas Henry Passmore in Granada, West Indies. The couple moved soon after back to England where they had one son. During her married life, Passmore wrote a single allegorical novel which must have had some success since it called for a second edition seven years later. She does not appear to have written anything else. The couple retired to the Brighton area where her husband died in 1905 and she died on 15 July 1918 in London.
