Author: Caroline Peachey (1828–1868)
Biography: Caroline Peachey was born about 1828 in England, the daughter of James Peachey. Her early life cannot be traced. In the 1840s, she became one of the first translators of Hans Christian Andersen. She wrote a few works of fiction herself. She never married and died on 2 January 1868 in London. Her last work was published posthumously.
