Author: Caroline Louise Moscrop (1800–1874)

Biography: Caroline Louise Moscrop was born about 1800 in France to British parents. Her early life cannot be traced. Literary gossip reports she lived for a time in Orwell Place, Ipswich. Her husband cannot be traced but she had one son. By 1871, she was living as a widow in London, having written a collection of fairy tales a few years earlier. She died on 31 August 1874 in London.
