Author: Percy Russell (1846–1926)
Biography: Percy Russell was born about 1846 in Chatham. His early life cannot be traced. By his twenties, he was living in the London area with his widowed mother and working as a journalist. He wrote serials for newspapers as well as several books of fiction and nonfiction. Notably, he wrote guides on authorship. He married but the marriage was childless. Russell died on 26 October 1926 in Lambeth.
