Biography: Annie Vesey was born on 18 March 1833 in Chelsea, the daughter of clergyman George Palmer, the rector of Sullington. In 1868, she married clergyman Francis Gerald Vesey, the rector of St. Mary's Huntingdon and later Archdeacon of Huntingdon. The couple had two children. During her married life, Vesey wrote a few novels but none seems to have made much of a mark. Judging by the censuses, she lived a long, comfortable life in Huntingdon.
